Residential Pest Control in Fort Deposit
Most of our Fort Deposit work is residential. The housing stock here is a mix of older wood-frame homes with crawlspaces, mid-century ranch houses and a handful of newer builds on the edges of town. Each type has its own pest profile. Older homes need more exclusion and moisture work; newer homes tend to have rodent and ant issues at the foundation line. Families in Fort Deposit usually want the same thing: no roaches in the kitchen, no scratching in the attic, and no termites eating the porch. We build a plan around the house, not a template.
- Quarterly general pest treatment — A standing quarterly visit covers ants, roaches, spiders and occasional invaders in Fort Deposit homes. We treat the perimeter, kitchen and crawlspace, and check the glue boards and bait stations we set on the first visit. Most homes stay clean on this schedule.
- Rodent exclusion and trapping — We inspect the attic, crawlspace and garage for entry points, seal what we can reach, and set traps and tamper-resistant bait stations. Fort Deposit homes near the I-65 corridor see more rodent pressure, so we check the exterior stations monthly through fall and winter.
- Termite inspection and treatment — A full crawlspace inspection with detection devices and flashlights, followed by soil treatment or bait station installation if termites are active. Fort Deposit's older crawlspace homes are the highest-risk properties, and annual re-inspections keep the warranty valid.
- Wasp and stinging insect removal — We remove paper wasp and yellow jacket nests from eaves, porch ceilings and outbuildings around Fort Deposit. Evening removal is standard because the whole colony is inside the nest. We treat the attachment point so a new nest does not go up in the same spot.
